Description of duties: Oversaw a staff of IT professionals for a large international toy company selling products in over 50 countries. Designed/built and created marketing content for many websites and oversaw construction of several high-end flash sites, web applications, communities and e-commerce. Created company network: taking company from 10 workstations, a single server and hub to 15 servers, 70 workstations, 7 switches, T1 and firewall as well as co-located systems for our high traffic sites which together saw as many as 35 million hits a month during peaks. Created many multimedia pieces for web, sales presentations and tradeshows. Followed the company through extensive expansions and contractions and scaled systems and employees appropriately. I managed many technology projects from conception to completion. I also created a comic book series for one of the company's product lines acting as writer and art director as well as project and brand manager for the line. Overall it was a great experience to work for XConcepts and I am moving on because they were sold to a much larger toy company.
